Toy Store Ministry

The New South River Baptist Association Toy Store provides families with toys for their children at Christmas and also gives us the opportunity to share the love of Jesus Christ with them.
The deadline for toy donations and applications is November 27.  Toy Store Applications will be available in mid-October 2013.  Copies will be available for pick up from the Cumberland and Sampson Beatitude Houses, the New South River Baptist Association Office or a Church within New South River Baptist Association.  Mail applications to Robert Ivey, NSRBA, PO Box 298, Fayetteville NC 28302 or bring to the NSRBA Resource Center, 2341 Downing Rd., Fayetteville.
	Each year the NSRBA collects thousands of toys and then gives families the opportunity to come and shop at our Toy Store.
The toys are collected from the churches of the NSRBA.  If you would like to join us in the wonderful ministry by providing toys to be used in this ministry here are some guidelines to follow: All toys must be new All toys must be brought to the NSRBA Office (to be sorted, "priced", and divided) The Deadline to drop off toys is November 26.	********PLEASE NOTE******** The following list of items is given only as examples and suggestions to help you in selecting toys to share with us for this ministry. We have discovered over the years of doing this ministry that there is a greater need for some toys and items than others.  However, many, many different types of toys are needed each year to carry out this ministry and all toys are welcomed.
TYPES OF TOYS WE DO NOT NEED: Stuffed Animals School Supplies Basketballs, footballs, and other types of "balls" Video "Poker"games or other games that promote gambling Infant Toys	EXAMPLES AND SUGGESTIONS OF THE TYPES OF TOYS WE DO NEED: "Barbie" Dolls and Accessories Action Figures Educational Toys Baby Dolls Board Games Radios and Headsets
Age range is for children ages 2 - 12 years old.
